Paul McCartney And Ringo Starr To Join Ed Sullivan 50th Anniversary Special?

According to rumors, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have been enlisted to participate in the upcoming Grammy tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.

The special, "The Night That Changed America: a Grammy Salute to the Beatles," will be taped on Jan. 27, the night after the 56th Grammys.

ABC reports that the special will also feature John Lennon's and George Harrison's widows, Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison.

In addition, plenty of top talent has been rumored for the fete, including Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Adele, Bruno Mars, Pink and Katy Perry, who'll give new performances of the five songs the Beatles performed on Feb. 9, 1964.

"The Night That Changed America: a Grammy Salute to the Beatles" airs Feb. 9 on CBS. The network has not confirmed any of the rumored guests.
