The U.S. producer price index for November is expected at 8:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the greenback showed mixed trading against its major opponents. While the greenback fell against the yen, it advanced against the pound. Against the franc and the euro, the greenback held steady.
As of 8:25 am ET, the greenback traded at 1.3725 against the euro, 103.35 against the yen, 1.6273 against the pound and 0.8906 against the franc.
