Lee Brice Says Bible Verse Is Basis Of Tim McGraw's 'Still'

Lee Brice has revealed that the Tim McGraw track "Still," which he wrote, is based on a verse from the Bible.

Brice talks about the process of writing the 2010 track in the new book Once-a-Day Country Faith: 56 Reflections From Today's Leading Country Music Stars, noting that it came Psalm 46:10: "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

He explained: "As time has gone by, that verse has come to mean even more to me, especially in my life right now. Everything moves so fast. My life was in high gear before, but it's in higher gear now."

Brice and his wife Sara welcomed their son, Ryker Mobley Brice, earlier this year.
