The Beatles have released a line of sneakers inspired by their 1968 animated movie, Yellow Submarine. The shoes, manufactured by Vans, hit retailers on March 1 and are priced between $65 and $75.
The Sk8-Hi Reissue ($75) features stylized portraits of all four Beatles running up the ankles apropos to cartoon portraits of each as they were animated for the film.
The other pairs also draw inspiration from scenes from Yellow Submarine animated film. The Era shoes show all four bandmates in a yellow garden with rainbow pants, while the Authentic shoes have an "All You Need Is Love" pattern.
In other Fab Four news, CBS is broadcasting the Grammy special, The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute To The Beatles, on the night of the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' legendary Ed Sullivan performance, February 9.
