Fleetwood Mac is preparing to record a new album with keyboardist and vocalist Christine McVie, who has rejoined the band after a lengthy absence. Mick Fleetwood told Maui News that McVie has been writing new songs to be recorded with F-Mac in March.

Following a mini reunion at last year's Fleetwood London shows, Christine expressed an interest in getting back together.

"I like being with the band, the whole idea of playing music with them," she said. "I miss them all."

McVie joined the band in 1970 after marrying the band's bassist John McVie. She stayed with the band until 1998.

McVie has written some of Fleetwood Mac's most famous hits, including "Everywhere," "Don't Stop" and "Say You Love Me."
