Jessie J stunned fans by showing up at the Brit Awards with bright purple lip stick. After getting criticized for the move, the outspoken singer hit Twitter in an attempt to move forward:
"The lip didn't work. Get over it. I have. Onto the next look!" she wrote on Wednesday night.
Some of her fans weren't so forgiving, with one comparing her to a "corpse" on Twitter:
"Jessie J… proving why you should never wear a lipstick lighter than your skin tone #corpse #fail."
By the time the awards ceremony was over, Jessie had already ditched the look, sporting a much more demure look for the official Sony Music after party. She also ditched her long wig and wore her naturally short hair parted to one side.
