Amanda Seyfried has reportedly signed on to appear in the female leading role on the upcoming film "Ted 2." She will take over for Mila Kunis, who starred opposite Mark Wahlberg in the Seth MacFarlane comedy.
The "Family Guy" creator will be returning as the writer, director and voice actor of the film's namesake, an off-color talking Teddy bear. Kunis starred as Wahlberg's love interest in the first film and could still appear in a minor supporting role, according to Variety.
It was also noted that Kunis' departure from the sequel was an amiable call and had only to do with "a creative decision that MacFarlane decided to take with the plotting of the sequel."
