The Allman Brothers Band is releasing a DVD - titled 40 - documenting the 40th anny show the band played in 2009. The gig features TABB playing its first two albums during its annual run at NYC's Beacon Theater.

The "annual run of shows at New York City's Beacon Theatre is always magical, but 2009's 40th anniversary run was unique, with over 60 guests sitting in with the band," reads a presser for the DVD.

"But on March 26, 2009--the 40th anniversary of the original lineup's first performance--the band honored the legacy with a show that belonged to the Allman Brothers Band, and no one else."

Cuts featured on the disc include "Dreams," "Whipping Post," "Midnight Rider" and "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed."

40 hits April 30.
