Oracle To Acquire LiveLOOK - Quick Facts

Oracle Corp (ORCL) announced Friday that it has signed an agreement to acquire LiveLOOK, a provider of real-time, visual collaboration technology for co-browsing and screen sharing.

LiveLOOK's cloud-based co-browse technology enables customer service and sales agents to collaborate and visually guide consumers through web and mobile environments to resolve issues effectively and improve the quality of buying decisions.

Oracle noted that it has over 100 global customers using LiveLOOK's co-browse technology as an embedded part of Oracle Service Cloud offering.

Alteryx, Inc., a provider of self-service data analytics software, is the latest tech company to go public in March. Alteryx said it has priced its IPO of 9 million shares of its Class A common stock at $14 per share, at the top end of its range of $12 to $14 per share. Canadian pipeline operator Enbridge Inc. said it will cut about 1,000 jobs, or six percent of its workforce, following the completion of its acquisition of Houston-based Spectra Energy Corp. The job cuts will take place across the merged company.
