The Beach Boys will join the Boston Pops for a Fourth of July special this year. The show takes place on the Esplanade and features additional appearances from Smash star Megan Hilty, and Julia Udine, along with Ben Jacoby from the new touring production of Phantom of the Opera.
The lineup of the band folks in Boston will see includes Mike Love and Bruce Johnson with Jeffrey Foskett, Randell Kirsch, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill and Scott Totten.
After the show, fans will be sure to stick around for the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, which features an Independence Day rendition of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. The event airs locally on WBZ-TV.
