The U.S. dollar edged down against its European major counterparts in early European deals on Friday.
The greenback eased to 0.8911 against the franc, from an early high of 0.8932.
The greenback that ended Thursday's trading at 1.7130 against the pound and 1.3608 against the euro weakened to 1.7150 and 1.3624, respectively.
The greenback is likely to find downside target level around 0.885 against the franc, 1.73 against the pound and 1.37 against the euro.
