21Vianet Group Inc. (VNET) announced Monday morning that it has entered into definitive agreements to acquire the entire equity interest in Dermot Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries from DYXnet Group. The total consideration for the acquisition was not disclosed, but shall be paid in a combination of cash and shares.
21Vianet Group rose steadily during the first 45 minutes of trade Monday. The stock was range-bound for the remainder of the day and closed up by 2.05 at $29.87. 21Vianet Group finished at nearly a 1-month high.
