Five people, including three children, were killed in a crash in Pennsylvania on Saturday afternoon that involved four vehicles. Three others have been taken to hospitals.
All the victims were travelling in a minivan. Overspeeding is said to have caused the mishap.
The accident occurred near the intersection of Route 115 and North Rocky Mountain Road in Effort. While the van was traveling south, the other vehicles were going towards the north.
The crash occurred on Route 115 in Effort, in Monroe County, which is around 35 miles north of Allentown. Part of Route 115 was closed and re-opened later.
