Jennifer Lawrence set aside some quality time for children at the Kosair Children's Hospital near her hometown in Louisville, Kentucky over the Christmas holiday. The "Hunger Games" star appeared in various photos with patients and staff at the facility and said that she was thrilled to bring a little holiday cheer.
The hospital environment is nothing new to Lawrence, who used to work as a nurse at the kids summer camp, which was run by her parents. Speaking with the Los Angeles Times, she explained "it's impossible to shock me or gross me out."
Hospital reps hit Twitter following her visit noting, "Thank you for visiting the kids yesterday. We know it meant a lot to them and brightened their day."
Lawrence also made a stop by the same hospital last Christmas.
