The Who's John Entwistle and Keith Moon will be celebrated at an all-star tribute concert on January 24 at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California.
Entwistle / Moon: The Ox & the Loon is the brainchild of former Whitesnake drummer Brian Tichy and co-producer Joe Sutton. The lineup brings back many participants from last year's show, including, in addition to Tichy himself, Kenny Aronoff, Dave Lombardo (Slayer), Rikki Rockett (Poison) and Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater).
Bass will be handled by Billy Sheehan, Phil Chen (Rod Stewart), Dug Pinnick (King's X) and Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy). Gilby Clarke (Guns N' Roses) and Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big) will also be involved in the all-star tribute performance.
The show is the third night of the California Music Fest.
