South Korea's money supply growth accelerated for the second straight month in November, preliminary figures from the Bank of Korea showed Wednesday.
M2, a broad measure of money supply, climbed 8.3 percent year-on-year in November, after a 7.5 percent rise seen in the previous month.
Month-on-month, M2 money supply rose 1.4 percent in November, faster than October's 0.8 percent increase.
At the same time, liquidity surged 8.7 percent annually in November, following 8.1 percent growth logged in the prior month. On a monthly basis, liquidity rose a seasonally adjusted 1.2 percent, faster than previous month's 0.8 percent gain.
