Eric Church has opened up about the challenges of balancing life as a father and Grammy nominee. Church's wife Katherine is due with the couple's second child the week after the Grammys, yet the Nashville star says she's still planning to travel to the February 8 event.
"It's bad both ways," Church tells the Tennessean.
"If she goes into labor at the Grammys, that will be an interesting night for all of us. I told her if we could just make it to the day after the Grammys we're good."
Whether the baby makes an appearance that night or not, the Grammys promise to be a big night for Church.
He is nominated for Best Country Album (The Outsiders), Best Country Song ("Give Me Back My Hometown"), Best Country Solo Performance ("Give Me Back My Hometown") and Best Country Duo / Group Performance ("Raise 'Em Up" with Keith Urban).
