Drake recently made a generous donation of $75,000 to Meek Mill's former high school located in Philadelphia, according to Complex.

The Toronto rapper felt the need to give money to Strawberry Mansion High School, which has a history of violence and budget issues. Principal Linda Cliatt-Wayman strives to improve these unfortunate conditions at the high school.

Drake surprised the students by showing up at the school to announce his donation and how it was put towards the building of a new recording studio.

"This is about you. This is about your principal. This is about your future," he said. "I love you. I care about you. I want to see you succeed."

The building of the studio was finished last summer, according to Huffington Post. Since the principal played a song recorded in the studio over the PA, more than 50 students have signed up for classes to take place in the studio.
