Queen guitarist Brian May will guest on Adam Lambert's upcoming solo album The Original High. According to Noise11, May will feature on the track "Lucy," returning the favor to Lambert who has been Queen's touring vocalist lately.
"There's never going to be another, and I'm not replacing him," said Lambert in reference to the late Freddie Mercury. "That's not what I'm doing. I'm trying to keep the memory alive, and remind people how amazing he was, without imitating him. I'm trying to share with the audience how much he inspired me." The LP was recorded in Stockholm, Sweden and Los Angeles, California with Max Martin and Shellback as executive producers (Katy Perry, Maroon 5).
The Original High lands June 12 via Warner Music. Lambert will appear on the Ellen Degeneres Show on April 30.
