Looking hot today? It might not matter. If the person you are trying to attract has a low sex drive, it may be difficult to grab their attention, no matter how much you primp or preen.

New research suggests that women with an abnormally low sex drive did not see men in the same way as women who had more typical levels of sexual urges. Those with low sex drive saw the men as less attractive than other women.

A recent study published in The Journal Of Sexual Medicine asked young women to rate voices and faces of young men. Women identified as having hypoactive sexual desire disorder, a type of sexual dysfunction characterized by a lack of desire for sex, gave lower attractiveness evaluations than the control group.

The results of the study suggest that the person's sex drive begins to alter their perception of a person early in an interaction.
