RealD Inc. (RLD) reported a net loss for the fourth quarter of $17.7 million or $0.36 per share, compared to a net loss of $5.0 million or $0.10 per share for the year-ago quarter.
Total revenue for the fourth quarter fell to $27.9 million from $40.6 million a year ago.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.34 per share on revenue of $25.16 million for the fourth quarter.
