Queen has revealed a new beer, "Queen Bohemian Lager," named for their classic hit and released in conjunction with the 40 year anniversary of their 1975 hit single.
"Queen Bohemian Lager" is described by the band's press release as a "golden hoppy" beer. It has been brewed in the Czech Republic. It was born out of Plzen in the western half of the country and was previously part of the Bohemian Kingdom back in the 1840s where it became known as Bohemian Pilsner.
The Queen crest that graces the beer bottles was actually designed by late singer Freddie Mercury while he was a student at Ealing Art College in London, where he earned a diploma in art and graphic design.
"Queen Bohemian Lager" comes just months after a Queen branded vodka was released.
