Eurostat on Monday said business investment rate during the first quarter of 2015 was 21.8 percent in the euro area, stable compared with the previous quarter.
The business profit share in the euro area was 39.7 percent in the first quarter of 2015, compared with 39.3 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014.
The data comes from a first release of seasonally adjusted quarterly European sector accounts from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, and the European Central Bank. The household saving rate in the euro area was 12.8 percent in the first quarter of 2015, stable compared with the fourth quarter of 2014. The household investment rate in the euro area was 8.2 percent in the first quarter of 2015, also stable compared with the previous quarter.
