After Supertramp fronter Rick Davies was diagnosed with cancer, the band decided to cancel their European tour.
The group was scheduled to begin a 25 city tour on November 3 in Porto, Portugal and culminate in the December 11 sold out show in the Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam, Holland.
"I was really looking forward to returning to Europe and playing with the band again, and I'm sorry to disappoint everyone who has overwhelmingly supported the upcoming tour," said Davies in a statement.
"Unfortunately, my current health issues have derailed me, and right now I need to focus all of my energy on getting well." According to the band's website, "Davies was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma and has begun aggressive treatment to combat the disease."
