Cole Swindell says he has a very special song, "You Should Be Here," which features on his upcoming sophomore record. Speaking with The Boot, Swindell noted that the song has a special significance.
"I've got some songs I'm so proud of, but there's one song, I think it will be a single one day," he began. "I can't say it'll be the first, I don't know, but I hope it gets a chance to be on country radio."
"It's, by far, my favorite song that I think I've written," Swindell adds.
"I think that's why I moved to Nashville, is to write a song like this. Just growing up, loving '90s country music, there were songs that touched me. There were fun ones, but there were also the ones I could relate to, and I think this is going to be that song when people get to hear it."
So far, Cole hasn't revealed the name or release date of his second LP.
