Little Big Town singer Jimi Westbrook is able to speak once again after undergoing vocal cord surgery. The singer shared news of his recovery via Facebook with a video in which he joked that he had a completely "new" voice.
"I can talk. It's kind of . . . different . . . weird . . . but maybe I can get used to it," Westbrook said.
"Everything's good. I'm talking, which is a blessing — well, except to Karen [Fairchild, Westbrook's wife and fellow LBT member], but anyway . . . All is well."
The band revealed Westbrook's surgery plans earlier this year, with Phillip Sweet noting, "For the long term of Little Big Town, this is the best thing."
