French media and music company Vivendi SA (VIVEF.PK) increased its stake in the French video platform Dailymotion, now controlling 90 percent stake, media reported Wednesday. Vivendi is said t be determined to make Dailymotion one of its most valuable assets.
Vivendi completed the acquisition of additional 10 percent, while it had bought 80 percent stake in Orange spring. For the additional stake, Vivendi reportedly paid just over 27 million euros, valuing Dailymotion more than 271 million euros.
In Paris, Vivendi shares were trading at 21.76 euros, down 0.44 percent.
