Yahoo Inc.'s (YHOO) Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Media will resign from the tech giant and join TV and film studio STX Entertainment in October.
Kathy Savitt will join the STX Entertainment as President of Digital business. Savitt will be responsible for STX's global digital content strategy.
At Yahoo, Savitt led the company's global brand marketing, product and performance marketing, audience engagement strategies, as well as original editorial and video content across market-leading properties such as Yahoo News, Yahoo Finance and Yahoo Sports. Savitt joined Yahoo in September 2012.
