Producer prices in South Korea were down 0.5 percent on month in August, the Bank of Korea said on Friday, following the 0.3 percent decline in July.
Individually, prices for agricultural, forestry & marine products added 0.2 percent, while manufacturing industry products fell 0.9 percent, electric power, gas & water supply slipped 0.4 percent and services were flat.
On a yearly basis, producer prices tumbled 4.4 percent after losing 4.0 percent in the previous month.
