Greece's unemployment rate held steady in July, figures from the Hellenic Statistical Authority showed Thursday.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate came in at 25.0 percent in July, the same rate as in June, which was revised down from 25.2 percent.
In the corresponding month of the previous year, the jobless rate was 26.3 percent.
The number of unemployed people decreased by 1,984 in July from the preceding month and by 71,424 from last year.
At the same time, employed people increased by 33,506 in July from a year ago to 3.59 million.
The youth unemployment rate, which applies to the 15 to 24 age group, dropped to 48.6 percent in July from 49.5 percent a year earlier.
