UK House Prices Continue To Rise In October - RICS

House prices in the United Kingdom remain on an upward curve, the latest house price balance from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors showed on Thursday with a score of 49 percent.

That topped forecasts for 45 percent, and it was up sharply from 44 percent in September.

"It is hard to get away from the issue of supply when it comes to the current state of the housing market," said RICS chief economist Simon Rubinsohn.
