IAG November Traffic Increases 14.3%, Capacity Up 11.7% - Quick Facts

International Consolidated Airlines Group S.A. (ICAGY.PK,IAG.L), formed by the merger of British Airways plc. and Spanish flag carrier Iberia Lineas Aereas de Espana S.A., said that its traffic in November 2015 increased 14.3% from November 2014, on a capacity increase of 11.7%.

Group traffic measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometres or RPK for the latest-month increased 14.3 per cent to 17.54 billion from 15.34 billion RPK in the same month last year.

Group capacity measured in Available Seat Kilometres or ASK rose 11.7 per cent to 22.12 billion from 19.81 billion ASK in the previous year month.

Passenger load factor for the month improved 1.8 points to 79.3 percent from 77.5 percent in the prior year.

The airline carried a total of 6.89 million passengers in the recent month, up 20.1 percent from last year's 5.74 million passengers.

The Group performance comprised British Airways, Iberia (including Iberia Express) and Vueling.
