Colgate-Palmolive Co. (CL) Chairman and CEO Ian Cook, while announcing the first quarter results on Thursday said the company anticipates another year of solid organic sales growth in 2016, driven by a full new product pipeline across all categories and geographies. Colgate will continue to plan for a year of gross margin expansion and now expects earnings per share to be flat with 2015 in dollar terms.
The company has recorded decline in first quarter earnings, while revenue for the quarter was down from the prior year.
