The total value of construction work done in Australia tumbled a seasonally adjusted 3.7 percent on quarter in the second quarter of 2016, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday - coming in at A$47.419 billion.
That missed forecasts for a decline of 2.0 percent following the 2.6 percent decline in the three months prior.
On a yearly basis, the value of construction work done was down 10.6 percent.
