Pete Wentz has opened up about the current status of Fall Out Boy and says the band is currently working on new material. During a recent performance at the Reading Festival the bassist admitted to the crowd that the band would soon be back "with new music."
He also admitted before the show to NME that it's still a thrill to play such fests.
"I've walked by the headliner compound backstage about eight trillion times and now we're sitting in it," he said. "It's pretty spectacular to come here under these circumstances."
He continued, saying, "I'd be lying if I said I thought we'd be headlining festivals." Including the Reading Festival performance, the band have played the festival five times. "It's been a slow thing," Wentz explained. "It's been a fantastic building, learning experience for us."
