Greece's producer prices dropped further in July, though at a slower pace than in the previous month, figures from the Hellenic Statistical Authority showed Tuesday.

The overall producer price index fell 7.3 percent year-over-year in July, following a 7.8 percent decrease in June. The measure has been falling since July 2014.

The decline in July was largely caused by a 15.3 percent plunge in prices of energy goods.

Producer prices in the domestic market dipped 7.0 percent annually in July and those in the foreign market went down by 8.6 percent.

On a monthly basis, producer prices slid 1.2 percent from June, when it rose by 0.9 percent.
