House prices in major cities in China continued to increase in September, the National Bureau of Statistics said Friday.
Compared to previous year, home prices increased in 64 cities out of 70 and declined only in 6 cities.
House prices in Beijing and Shanghai climbed 27.8 percent and 32.7 percent, respectively.
On a monthly basis, 63 cities showed increase in home prices, while in August prices grew in 64 cities. Prices in 6 cities registered decline and one remained unchanged in September.
