Japan's supermarket sales recovered in October, data from the Japan Chain Stores Association showed Monday.
Supermarket sales, after adjustment, climbed 0.6 percent year-over-year in October, reversing a 3.2 percent drop in the previous month.
Before adjustment, sales grew 1.1 percent in October from a year ago.
On a monthly basis, supermarket sales surged 7.3 percent in October.
