Urban Outfitters Inc. (URBN) reported third quarter EPS of $0.40 after the bell Tuesday, compared to $0.42 a year ago. Analysts had been expecting EPS of $0.44.
Urban Outfitters gapped down sharply Tuesday and declined further in the early afternoon. The stock closed lower by 4.70 at $34.31 on the highest volume of the year. Urban Outfitters dropped to nearly a 2-week low and fell below its 50-day moving average.
