Super Mario Run, a new game that would offer augmented reality game experience on iPhones and androids will be launched soon. The video game developed by Nintendo will be available from December 15 on iOS and a few months later in Androids.
The new game will be side scrolling, and will work on auto runner platform. Mario, the video game character, is a jump man. It was created by Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo.
Initially Super Mario Run will not be a full fledged game. On Thursday, Apple stores have provided a special version of Super Mario Run in its iPhone and iPad demo units.
There will be three mode for Super Mario Run - World Tour, Toad Rally and Kingdom Builder.
Mario is portrayed as a plumber by profession and an Italian living in New York. The character has blue eyes, white gloves and brown shoes. In front of his hat there is a red "M" in a white circle.
The character was first appeared in Donkey Kong arcade game in 1981. Later it appeared in Super Mario Land, Super Mario 64 Super Mario Bros.
