KISS rocker Paul Stanley has paid tribute to late Star Wars legend Carrie Fisher. The actress died earlier this week at the age of 60 due to complications of heart failure and Stanley hit Twitter noting that she will be sorely missed.

"Carrie Fisher RIP Her play, books & films brought joy to millions. She once told me something I never forgot. Thanks," Stanley shared after news of her passing broke.

Stanley is just one of many rock and roll stars to pay tribute to Fisher, with Robbie Robertson adding:

"Carrie Fisher brought a shining light- unique to the planet Earth. She stunned your senses and was fearless in breaking the rules of politically correct. Some of the most brilliant funny moments I've ever witnessed. Blessings. RR"
