NutriSystem Inc. (NTRI) reported fourth quarter EPS of $0.29 after the bell Monday, up from $0.13 in the previous year. Street expectations were for EPS of $0.22. The company expects to report first quarter EPS of $0.14 to $0.19 and full year 2017 EPS of $1.55 to $1.65. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.11 and $1.40. The stock is now up 6.65 on 74K shares.
NutriSystem climbed until around 1:30PM Monday, before settling into a range. The stock closed up by 1.05 at $39.20 with volume at a 4-month high. NutriSystem has been rising for over 2 weeks and set its second consecutive new high for the year.
