The Labor Department's Import and Export Prices for March will be published at 8.30 am ET Wednesday. The economists are looking for consensus of a decline of 0.2 percent, while it grew 0.2 percent last month.
Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major rivals. While the greenback rose against the euro, it held steady against the rest of major counterparts.
The greenback was worth 1.0602 against the euro, 109.60 against the yen, 1.0071 against the franc and 1.2497 against the pound as of 8:25 am ET.
