The manufacturing sector in New Zealand continued to expand in April, albeit at a slower pace, the latest survey from Business NZ showed on Friday with a Performance of Manufacturing Index score of 56.8.
That's down from 57.8 in March, although it remains well above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion and contraction.
Individually, production, employment, new orders, finished stocks and deliveries all continued to expand.
