Greece's unemployment rate declined in the three months ended June, the labor force survey from the Hellenic Statistical Authority showed Thursday.
The unemployment rate dropped to 21.1 percent in the second quarter from 23.3 percent in the previous quarter.
In the corresponding period last year, the jobless rate was 23.1 percent.
There were 1.02 million unemployed people in the second quarter.
The number of unemployed persons decreased by 8.0 percent compared with the previous quarter and by 8.6 percent compared with same quarter last year.
