The term for today is BAGHOLDER .
In the crypto world, a BAGHOLDER is someone who bought a crypto currency at a high price, but failed to sell the coin before it tanked. So the person is left with a bag full of worthless coins.
For example, an investor bought 100 Bitcoins for $10. Afterwards, the price climbed to $20, but the investor held on to the cryptocurrency in expectation of bigger profit.
Soon, the crypto market crashed and the price of Bitcoin fell to $1. Then he is left with a stash of worthless coins and hence, he is a BAGHOLDER .
