Demi Lovato, who was hospitalized for a suspected drug overdose, has reportedly agreed to enter a drug rehabilitation center once she is discharged.
The 25 year-old US singer was admitted at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on July 24 after she was found unconscious at her Hollywood Hills home due to an apparent overdose.
Lovato had to extend her stay in the hospital due to multiple complications.
"It won't be easy but Demi agreeing to rehab is a huge step for her recovery," People quoted a source as saying.
In a statement issued on Instagram over the weekend, Lovato promised to "keep fighting."
She thanked her family and medics at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai hospital saying that "without them I wouldn't be here writing this letter to all of you."
