In a lengthy string of posts to Instagram, rapper Nas defended himself against recent allegations of domestic abuse reported by his ex-wife, Kelis.
In an interview in April, Kelis admitted that the couple used to get drunk and beat up one another; she stated that he was physically and mentally abusive and did not try to be a good father to their 9-year-old son, Knight Jones, saying "He doesn't participate. He shows up when it's fun. He shows up when there's a good photo op. He shows up when he feels like he needs a snuggle."
However, Nas took to Instagram to deny it all: "After all the tweets and posts you made thru the years disrespecting me and my family I still have love for you as the mother of my child BUT I am done with this. This game ends now and GOD will be the judger of all this. And although you tell everyone GOD hates me (some Christian you are) I will survive and thrive from this moment because I know who I am & you have not a clue who you are," wrote Nas in a seven-part post.
