The American National Standards Institute or ANSI will discuss Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence at the upcoming forums in the World Standards Week 2018.

The discussions will be conducted in its Legal Issues and Joint Member Forums during World Standards Week or WSW 2018, to be held October 15-19 in Washington, DC.

The U.S.-based private non-profit establishment noted that the ANSI Joint Member Forum to be held on October 2016 is titled "Empowered by Innovation: Cutting-Edge Technologies Driving Real-World Solutions"

In the discussion, experts from various industries and sectors, including healthcare, ITC, transportation, shipping, food safety, and government, will share insights on real-world applications of these emerging technologies.

Further, standardization leaders will offer perspectives on how standards and conformity assessment can help drive deployment and further innovation.

On October 16 itself, Legal Issues Forum would focus on the legal and ethical issues that arise when AI is deployed to meet business/organizational goals.

ANSI, which comprises over 125,000 companies, oversees the development of voluntary consensus standards for products, services, processes, systems, and personnel in the United States.
