Jack White has contributed $30,000 to restore a house that was featured in the classic 1983 film The Outsiders, the Press Herald reported quoting the Grammy winner's management.
The house, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, will be turned into a museum.
After the shooting of the Francis Ford Coppola film was over, House of Pain founder Danny O'Connor purchased the "Curtis Brothers House" in 2015.
The Outsiders, based on S.E. Hinton's 1967 novel, is a coming-of-age drama dealing with teenage gangs and poverty.
The Detroit musician, whose donation helped meet a $75,000 fundraising goal, is a benevolent contributor when it comes to preserving iconic monuments. He signed a bigger check of $142,000 to save Detroit's Masonic Temple five years ago.
White is fresh from releasing a trailer of his new documentary titled Kneeling At The Anthem DC.
